We absolutely love the amazing sour dough bread, croissants and brown butter chocolate chip cookies-all are amazing. One of these days we hope to make it there early enough to try the pop tarts.

Hidden Gem along Superior Street. The smell hits you as soon as you walk off the street. It smells absolutely amazing! All the bread is delicious and made locally and super simple. Yeast, flour, water and salt. Make sure to get some cheese curd bread!!

Took a short walk from the hotel to try this out. Really glad I have to get in a plain because I wanted to load up on the bread. I got a strawberry rhubarb pop tart and it was delicious. The pop tart was more like a danish, but still different. I would highly recommend this place.

Omigosh! The sourdough bread is so good. Has that tangy sourdough flavor you love! I bought 4 different flavored loaves to freeze and use. We also bought coffee and a scone. It was huge-one was plenty for two.

Stopped here while in Duluth! When my carb loving self saw Duluth’s Best Bread I came running! And so glad I did, the bakery’s items just melted in my mouth. Employee and I exchanged miscommunication on my order and when I went right back in they gave me my correct items at not cost. Definitely the type of atmosphere you want to feel when visiting a location. Beautiful people in a beautiful place 💗

We stopped here for a coffee and pastry before a day of exploring the city. My oat milk cappuccino was good and so was my chocolate croissant. My dad loved his caramel roll and we got a couple loaves of bread to bring home. They don't have the best tea selections, but they do have local kombucha.

Just met the owner and his family today. The bread is excellent as are the pastries. They use quality ingredients and genuinely care about their products and services. We have been buying the bread for years so it was cool to put a face to the brand. And, they also participate in the local community to make a positive difference.

What a great experience! To start with, the actual space is amazing. Cozy vibes with plenty of room (and the music wasn't so loud you can't even think). One of the things we bought was frozen pretzels, for which we received (accurate) advice on how to heat them up to best enjoy. In addition, we purchased 2 loaves of bread, which we had them slice. We are still enjoying the bread a week later, and it's still incredibly soft - hard to believe! All of this on top of incredibly tasty bread. Will definitely be back!

Warm and cozy atmosphere for eating and chatting. The service and bread are great! I just ran in to pick up a couple of scones and noticed the seating area. I wished I could have stayed. The scones were delicious and highly satisfying. Apricot pistachio and chocolate fig! The flavor and texture were spot on!

Duluth Best Bread absolutely lives up to its name. I had the best homemade pop tart I’ve ever tasted — flaky, buttery pastry with the perfect balance of strawberry jam filling. It felt gourmet pop tart! The coffee was a total knockout too — rich, smooth, and exactly what you want alongside a fresh pastry. Service was friendly and fast, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re in Duluth, this place is a must-stop for breakfast or a cozy coffee break.
